Sarah Ehl, M.Sc., RSLP

I am a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist. I have a particular interest and expertise in the assessment and treatment of developmental language disorders, acquired language disorders and social communication disorders. I hold a Masters degree from the University of British Columbia’s School of Audiology and Speech Sciences, and am a member of the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHBC) and Speech and Audiology Canada (SAC). I believe that communication is integral to a person’s relationships and independence, and work to support individuals in communicating to their fullest. I have had the opportunity to work with individuals across the lifespan, both here at Compass Clinic and as a speech-language pathologist with the Burnaby School District and Advancing Language and Literacy Group at UBC. I previously worked with adults recovering from brain injury at Providence Health, Vancouver General Hospital and G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Centre. Alongside my clinical experience, I have taught as a course instructor and guest lecturer in many academic settings, including as a course instructor for the Education Assistant Diploma Program and a guest lecturer for the UBC Linguistics Department and Faculty of Education. Outside of work, I explore the lower mainland with my son, and enjoy hiking, camping, travel and swimming.
