What times are you open?

Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.

Are you available after hours?

After hours appointments are available for counselling offered by Registered Clinical Counsellors. Most psycho-educational assessments are completed during weekday regular office hours. Occasional and limited weekend availability may be possible, although only certain psychologists offer assessments during this timeslot. Please inquire for more information.

How do I schedule an appointment?

The first time you call our clinic, you’ll either get on the phone with someone right away or one of our staff members will call you back shortly. They’ll ask you a few basic questions, like if someone referred you or whether you’re on insurance, as well as what you or your child requires help with.

 

After we determine a date & time, we’ll then send you a short package including information like our rates, how we’ll communicate, any information you need to bring, and how we deal with cancellations.

How early should I show up to my appointment?

Please arrive 15 minutes early to your psycho-educational assessment or first counselling appointment. This extra time will allow you to become familiar with our location and parking, as well as complete paperwork and forms.

What are your rates?

Am I covered by insurance?

Many people have extended health insurance for services provided by a registered psychologist. Grants are available through the BC government for post-secondary students with learning disabilities who require updated testing.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Please let us know 48 hours before your appointment is scheduled. If you miss your appointment or do not notify us within 48 hours, you’ll be required to pay the full cost of the session.

What about emergency responses?

We don’t provide care after normal business hours. If an emergency arises, please contact your family physician, emergency department, or call 9-1-1.
