Autism Assessment

Autism, or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) refers to a wide range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication. It affects both youth and adults.

ADHD Assessment

Individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) show a persistent pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity that can significantly interfere with their daily functioning and development.

Learning Disability Assessment

This diagnosis is made when a child demonstrates core difficulties in one (or more) of the following three foundational learning areas: reading, mathematics or written expression.

Giftedness Assessment

Giftedness is a term that is used to describe someone with an exceptional ability within a certain domain. We can assess for intellectual giftedness, which refers to an intellectual ability significantly higher than average.

Psychoeducational assessment

Help identify strengths, weaknesses, and alternative learning methods that may provide a better educational experience for children.

LEAP (Academic) Assessment

This assessment updates the academic portion of testing from the psycho-educational assessment to review school progress and to provide recommendations.

Children with medical, physical and developmental delays often have unique learning issues that can affect their schooling experiences and therapy, reducing quality of life and achievement.

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders. If you're not sure where to start, psychiatry is a good first step.
