Dr. Rami Nijjar, PHD

Dr. Rami is a Registered Psychologist practicing in both British Columbia and Quebec. She completed her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Concordia University, where her research explored the development of mental health conditions in the offspring of parents with bipolar disorder.

With nearly 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Rami has worked across hospital, community, university, and private practice settings. This broad exposure has deepened her appreciation for how accurate and compassionate assessment can clarify complex presentations, guide more effective therapy, and empower clients with a greater sense of self-understanding.

Her clinical work has spanned a range of concerns, including mood and anxiety disorders, chronic pain, eating disorders, neurodivergence, and interpersonal challenges. Over time, she has shifted her focus more fully to adult psychological assessments—particularly for ADHD, autism, and comprehensive mental health issues—after witnessing the positive impact a thoughtful evaluation can have on a person’s life and therapeutic direction and well-being.

Dr. Rami is pleased to have joined the Compass Clinic team, where she specializes in conducting adult autism assessments in a way that is both clinically rigorous and deeply respectful of individual experience.
