My interest in a child development started early in my career working with parents to build a strong attachment to their newborns. I was fortunate to have partnered with public health to develop the first brain- based attachment curriculum in Alberta. This program was the basis of the current Strong Start, Triple P, and other early intervention programs. I am now a fully registered psychologist with over ten years’ experience working within school districts. I have significant expertise in learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, language-based disabilities, and giftedness. Working from a brain-based perspective, my goal is to ensure every child has the opportunity to reach their full academic potential. I have had the privilege of witnessing the positive impact a well-informed comprehensive assessment can have on maximizing each students unique academic and social emotional success.
