Joie Ho, M.A., PGDE, B.S.S., Educational Psychologist in Accredited Register (HKAEP)

Joie is a trilingual psychometrist at Compass Clinic, fluent in English, Cantonese, and
Mandarin, working under the supervision of a registered psychologist. She earned her M.A.
in Professional Educational Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma of Education from the
Chinese University of Hong Kong. Joie is a member of the Hong Kong Association of
Educational Psychologists (HKAEP), the Hong Kong Psychology Society (Division of
Educational Psychology), and is a registered teacher in Hong Kong. Additionally, she has
applied for registration with the College of Psychologists of BC.
Joie’s hands-on experience in both private and local school settings covers psychoeducational
assessments, targeted interventions, and consultations with teachers and families. She aids
children and young adults as they face a range of learning and developmental challenges,
including attention difficulties, developmental disabilities, giftedness, learning disorders, and
mental illnesses, etc.. Drawing from her background in research and schools, Joie emphasizes
the importance of an integrative approach in her work. As an assessor, she combines genuine
care and understanding to reveal individual potential.
